Ricotta Ice Cream

Ingredients

15 oz fresh or whole milk ricotta
3/4 cup whole milk
1/3 cup heavy cream
1 tsp lemon zest
1/2 tsp vanilla
Pinch of sea salt
Sweeten to taste ~1/4 cup sugar or honey
1 tbl bourbon (optional)

Directions

Blend all the ingredients together. Chill for at least one
hour. Pour into ice cream maker and follow manufacturer’s
instructions.
Serve with fresh berries!
